What is the Child Dental Benefits Scheme?
At Balgowlah Family Dental Practice, we are proud to support Northern Beaches families through the Child Dental Benefits Scheme (CDBS) under Medicare. We believe every child deserves access to quality dental care, and the CDBS helps make that possible.
The CDBS is a Medicare programme that provides eligible children with up to $1,095 in benefits over a two-calendar-year period for basic dental services. Services can be provided in a public or private setting. Benefits are not available for orthodontic or cosmetic treatments, or for services provided in a hospital.
